As part of our initiative to serve all in the slum without prejudice, KRTC has put up a sanitary
block to reach out to the needs of the differently abled (disabled) members of our society. The
facility comprises toilets, shower rooms and toilets specifically fitted to serve the interest and
needs of this special group. This facility not only serves the needs of this special group but has
also created employment to (16) youths
The girls’ team was established in early 2013 and now comprises 21 players in the 10 -18 age group. The team has won several trophies in major tournaments; about 16 girls have been awarded scholarships by NGOs and schools.
